Description

◊ Name: Fraze Dokka
◊ Age: 18, but by her apparence she looks more like she's in her early twenties.
◊ Gender: Female
◊ Height: 18o cm/ 6"1 ft (reason for her light weight (82 lbs) is because most of her is hollow)
◊ Job: Craftswoman
◊ Species: Living porcelain doll
◊ Weapon: Dagger
◊ Abilities: Can bend her limbs to otherwise impossible angles in her humanized form. She is rather quick in movement, and unless she is a bit unaware of her surroundings she rarely bumps into people when being in a hurry. There is actually a bigger chance for her to bump into someone/something when she’s walking.
The dagger she uses in emergencies is about the only violence-related thing she is good with. It is specially designed for her ability to twist her limbs, so she can turn her hand while the dagger is in somebody to twist it correctly to the point where it would kill a human by damaging the internal organs so badly.

(edit 2015-06) ◊ Personality: Sweet, giggly, she tries to retain a motherly side even with some difficulty of fully grasping certain situations. Fraze believes herself to have a good heart without explicitly expressing it, rather trying her best to keep people around her happy or be there to listen when they need a shoulder to cry on. She tends to put the needs of others before herself which can be easily exploited by those who wish it. If someone points her to the fact that someone is doing so, she will rather blindly believe this statement (true or not) and confront the person in question. While hasty in her actions, she comes from a good place and has a lot to learn about what it is to be your own person.

◊ Bio: Short version/Summary: First created as a Lolita, she was a failed design, but was bought anyway (after earlier being returned to the shop multiple times for her creepy eyes) by a Lolita-loving girl around the age of 13. The girl was highly disliked by her “friends” who one day led her astray to rip her clothes, but it all went overboard to the point where they abused her. The damaged Fraze took on a humanized form, scaring off her classmates and managed to figure out how to call for help through the girl’s cellphone. The girl’s injuries to the head were so bad she went into a coma and eventually died, leaving Fraze (who had fixed herself up after spending time hidden in the hospital) by herself. After wandering around for a good few years, she found the Toy Store and hoped to be able to start a new life.
End Summary.

Full version if you’re in for a good read: Fraze was a new model for a Gothic/Lolita doll shop, even though she only loosely resembled a Lolita. It took a long while before she was bought, but less time for her to be brought back to the store. Customer after customer, they were all lovers of porcelain dolls, but they couldn’t stand the constant stare of Fraze’s nearly living eyes. Back at this time she was only vaguely aware of the situation she was in, but not aware of that if she would not be permanently bought, she’d be destroyed. All the other dolls in the shop knew this, and some of them teased Fraze (none of the toys in this store were able to move or talk, but they could communicate through thoughts with each other). Fraze never really understood why they were teasing her, and just waited patiently.
But once she was bought by somebody who loved her dearly, especially her eyes. It was girl in her early teens, dressed in black and white Lolita clothing and covered her face with eyeliner and makeup.
The “friends” of the girl though hated her style. They despised how she always went around with creepy dolls and childish dresses which were out of fashion.
So one day they took a longer road home from school, to a quiet area near the woods, accompanied by two of the girls’ boyfriends. The classmates of the girl started to rip her clothes and smudge her makeup, took her bag of manga books and threw it into a puddle. They tried to take Fraze away from her, but she held tightly onto her doll. One of the girls and also one of the boys kicked her in the back to make her let go, which she had no choice but to. Yet the kicks didn’t cease and she could only try to cover herself up. Fraze could only watch, horrified and for once angry, nearly hating these naïve children who couldn’t accept someone who was different. Along with the girl’s cries, Fraze felt an immense will to protect the first person to be fond of her, and slowly she took the form of a young adult woman. But as she had been tossed earlier, the porcelain on her back had shattered; there were cracks on her face and her arm and one leg were turned into an angle impossible for humans unless their limbs were broken. The sight made the young classmates shriek in horror and run away, leaving Fraze’s owner unconscious on the ground. Fraze had seen her use her cellphone several times and managed to find the number to her mother in the phone address book, which she quickly dialled.
Soon an ambulance was there and picked her beloved owner up. Fraze managed to come with her in the form of a doll once again, and was the first being to hear the doctors declare that her owner was in a deep coma after several kicks to the head.
Fraze could barely believe it, and once night came she set herself back into a humanized form and sat beside her bed. She managed to turn her limbs to a correct angle and find something to fix and hide the cracks in her face, as well as glue on a few pieces of her shattered back. This is where she discovered a couple of methods to fix broken things such as porcelain, not leaving a mark even.
For months Fraze sat beside her bed at night time, waiting for her to wake up. But she never did. When she was finally unplugged, dead, Fraze didn’t know what to do. So she left the hospital and her owner after the funeral.

Wandering aimlessly for a while, she eventually found a grand Toy Store with an owner named “Nol”. It was apparently searching for employees, and heard about the job of a craftswoman. She saw this as an opportunity to help others. With the chance of a home, new firiends and some security, Fraze didn’t hesitate to step inside and apply for a job.
End longass backstory

◊ Likes: The colour pink, sewing, helping toys who have broken, lollipops (especially with strawberry flavour), practically anything sweet, pillows or anything soft and hairbrushes.
◊ Dislikes: When people laugh at her without understanding why, violence, rainy days, when her hair is messy and hard objects.
◊ Additional Information:
:bulletpink: She looks good with her hair put up and it makes it easier for her to work, but due to the gaping hole in her back she always has it down.
:bulletpink: She could have fixed the hole in her back ages ago, but she keeps it as a reminder to herself that it is now her purpose to help others.
:bulletpink: She doesn’t always wear her gloves and stockings.
:bulletpink: Her greatest wish is the ability to express and feel more things than she's currently capable of, among these things, she wishes for the ability to shed tears.
:bulletpink: She has a certain type of glue especially for porcelain dolls, fixing them without leaving any visible cracks.
:bulletpink: Whenever people mistake her for a plastic doll, she's extremely insulted
:bulletpink: In her full-sized form, she can only form neutral or smiling expressions unless the circumstances are extreme and she's forced to frown.

◊Weaknesses: Never, ever allow Fraze to attempt lifting a heavy object off a high shelf, even if she wants to try. She can’t lift heavy objects nor hit hard (just about the greatest strike you will get from her bare hands is a slap; which will risk her ‘skin’ to crack). Her back still has a big hole in it which she covers with her hair and clothing, and it makes her a bit unsteady due to the weight distribution not being quite correct. This makes knocking her over an easy task, but if you only want to startle her I wouldn’t suggest this since there is a risk she breaks.
… However, her hip area has a certain kind of stuffing so this won’t break. It would be crucial for her very ability to walk.
If she is stricken so that one of her limbs is destroyed and/or cannot be retrieved or fixed, she MUST have new parts of porcelain to merge together, whether it is herself doing it or one of her co-workers. Although she’ll only need to merge together a limb big enough for her doll-form, since it will later adapt to her humanized form.
Sticking your hand into the hole of her back has some... Interesting effects.

NEW APP AGAIN OTL finally done ;7;
