I must admit I have some mixed feelings about greeting the new year; I've a lot of opportunity ahead of me, but also some doubt. What I do know is that I'm not making any real resolutions for the year; I know what I want to do for now, and I'll take the year one day at a time
2014 was a trying year for me, testing my ability to push through tough times; I attended therapy for the first time since I was twelve and it helped me grow quite a lot as a person and see my actions through a whole new scope. I turned 21 in early January (and soon I'll be 22!) and finished my first year in PlaygroundSquad.
It was overdue, but I landed an internship in the Netherlands where I'll be moving before 1st of Febuary and in the meantime, for the first time in my life, I'm lodging with two good friends and their cats. Also during this time I'm on a rather big project- which will end a week before I need to go to Alkmaar.
Least to say, I've got the first half of the new year laid out before me. I have a lot to look forward to, and I hope the rest of you do as well! It's something we say every year, but I hope this year will be better than the last; filled with progression, healing and joy.
